After work on Friday I was able to squeeze in some time to head to a local park. Fortunately, I made it with just enough time before an April shower began to fall. I must say, there’s something about a spontaneous light rain that just makes me want to smile- especially when surrounded by beautiful trees and bright flowers. It creates one of those moments when time slows down just long enough to enjoy such a happening.
Though not a State Park, it seemed worthy enough to include in my Journey. If Pigeon Swamp State Park made the list, then I deem Buccleuch acceptable as well. I’ve never visited the Buccleuch Mansion, but I’ve put that on my to-do list once June rolls around (since it’s open for tours from June-October).
